We’re expanding our PPC team and looking for a skilled, early-career digital PPC marketer (minimum 1 year experience) to focus on billable client work for PPC programs.

We’re a 100% remote team based across the USA. One of our digital nomads currently works from Europe. Our original headquarters, back in the pre-covid office days, is in Bryson City, NC, where the company was founded.

PPC Specialist

The Liquid Spark PPC Specialist contractor role leads strategy and weekly management, optimization, and new campaign setup of client PPC programs. The PPC Specialist works closely with the account team, and reports directly to the President. While the majority of the work is done behind the scenes, this role works directly with clients as needed for check-ins, team meetings and information sharing for PPC programs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Available for 5-10 hours per week on a regular basis. This is a year-round role with growth opportunity.
  • Google Ads Certified with annual recertification/ongoing training.

  • Google Analytics Certified or 2-3 years of experience.

  • Ability to write effective and error-free marketing ad copy.

  • Understanding of tourism and adventure markets.

  • Ability to analyze campaigns at all levels with critical thinking skills and a focus on strategy.

  • Ability to accurately track time, consistently and completely update internal project management software.

  • Demonstrate successful experience working remotely, with effective use Skype, Zoom, Basecamp, and email for real-time communication with the team daily while working remotely.

  • Demonstrate basic understanding of SEO and how it supports effective PPC campaigns and website landing pages.

  • Internet Access Requirements: High speed, consistent broadband internet required, with backup plan in place. No exceptions.  Minimum acceptable broadband speeds: 25-30MB download, minimum upload 5-10MB

  • Interest in Adventure Travel & Tourism: Our team has deep experience in the adventure travel & tourism industry as guides, leaders, and customers, so specific experience within the adventure tourism & travel industry is not required. Personal interest in outdoor recreation and adventure is needed. Novices and total newbies to outdoor adventure are welcome; passion and interest is what we are looking for!

Major Responsibilities

  1. Develops concise, coherent PPC strategy recommendations per client based on their business goals.
  2. Manages client PPC programs. This includes research to support best targets, creating/managing campaign audiences, creating/updating existing ads with copy, extensions, and provided display graphics/video.
  3. Provides mini-audits of PPC programs for prospective PPC clients as part of agency business development.
  4. Supports generation of monthly client digital performance reports. This includes reviewing generated reports for anomalies, tracking determined KPI stats, summarizing monthly PPC program results, and suggesting any PPC or integrated marketing action items for next month.
  5. Supports research and writing of blog posts on PPC for agency website.
  6. Participates in agency team meetings and project reviews.
